Why Getting the Right Terminal Matters
Gatwick Airport has two separate terminals — North Terminal and South Terminal — approximately a 5-minute monorail ride apart. If you go to the wrong terminal, you'll need to catch the free inter-terminal monorail, adding 10–15 minutes and unnecessary stress, especially after a long flight with luggage.
The good news: it's easy to check in advance, and if you're booking a private transfer with us, we check for you automatically.
Gatwick South Terminal Airlines (Full List)
South Terminal is the larger terminal and handles the majority of Gatwick's scheduled flights:
- British Airways (BA) — all BA routes from Gatwick
- easyJet — most routes (check boarding pass for North Terminal exceptions)
- Virgin Atlantic (VS) — leisure long-haul
- TUI (TOM/BY) — most package holiday flights
- Vueling (VY)
- Norwegian (DY)
- Condor (DE)
- Jet2 (LS) — most routes
- Iberia (IB)
- Air Europa (UX)
- Corsair (SS)
- Most other charter and leisure airlines
Gatwick North Terminal Airlines (Full List)
North Terminal is smaller and generally faster to navigate:
- easyJet — selected routes (always check your boarding pass)
- Wizz Air (W6) — all routes
- Ryanair (FR) — all Gatwick routes
- Flybe (BE)
- Primera Air (PF)
- Cobalt Air (CO)
- Various seasonal charter operators
⚠️ easyJet Warning: easyJet is the only airline that uses both terminals at Gatwick. Always check your boarding pass carefully — it will say North or South Terminal clearly. Don't assume it's the same as your last easyJet flight.
How to Check Your Terminal Before You Travel
There are three reliable ways to confirm your terminal:
- Your boarding pass — always the most definitive source. It will clearly state North or South Terminal
- Your airline's app or website — check your booking confirmation or manage booking section
- Gatwick's official flight search at gatwickairport.com — search your flight number
Getting Between North and South Terminal
If you do need to switch terminals — or if your transfer driver needs to collect from a different terminal — the free Gatwick monorail runs 24 hours a day between both terminals. It takes just 2 minutes and departs every 3–4 minutes. Follow signs from either terminal's ground floor to the monorail station.
Where Your Driver Meets You at Each Terminal
When you book a private transfer with us, we always confirm the correct terminal for your flight. Your driver will be waiting inside the arrivals hall with a name board:
- South Terminal: Main arrivals hall on the ground floor, immediately after baggage reclaim exit and customs
- North Terminal: Arrivals hall just past the customs exit gates, before the taxi rank
We track your flight in real-time. Whether your flight is early, on time or significantly delayed, your driver will be there — at no extra charge.
